Outdoor SafetyIt is stressful to worry about your child’s wellbeing and its normal to feel concerned about who is monitoring you child’s safety while we are in the bush. True North Expeditions adheres to the best practice guidelines provided by the Association of Experiential Education' (AEE) Therapeutic Adventure Professionals Group (TAPG). Recent 2012 research has shown that adventure therapy programs following these guidelines have significantly less reported injuries and emergencies than traditional outdoor wilderness experience programs.
In addition, our organisation adheres to the ethical guidelines provided by the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW). |
